Wirg was a female Uruk who was born in the underground caverns of Isengard during the War of the Ring. Her skills in combat made her of great use during the time when her master Saruman appointed her to join Uglúk's company in search of the Fellowship of the Ring. Upon arriving at Amon Hen, Wirg and the company engaged the Fellowship and was given orders to find the four Hobbits. However, her efforts to do so failed when she was slain in the skirmish.
