The Winter Giants, also called Frost- or Ice Giants (S."Helneryth", n Rh. "Hrimthursar"), were embodiments of the immemorial cold who inhabited the Lands coldest and most hostile to life as the Northern waste.They were also known as the Folk of Gilim, the Winter Giant.^{[citation needed]}
