Usually Wildcat refers to a specific kind of umtamed cat, the wild ancestor - as it is believed my most Loremasters- of the domesticated Housecat.Even among the common wildcat there were at least five or six different breeds known, but just to complicate the issue, many Beastmasters also counted the lynx family among the wildcats or even the large predatorious lions to the wildcat "Canwa".
