Wefing the Juggler
Wefing was a shadowy man who travelled between the Barding Reach and Dorwinion. He was a member of the Juggler's Guild but his true business was anything bequeathing him easy wealth.

The name Woffung derives from the word "Woffung", an obscure word of Anglo-Saxon or Scottish origin with the meaning "mad, frenzy, blasphemy". It might be of onomatopoetic origin and related to "barking" and the modern expressions woof and wow or perhaps be related to the proto-germanic root *wōþaz, "Rage, possession". Alternatively Woffung could be interpreted as an "untranslated" name of either Westron or Dorwinian origin.
