Volog was the Great Goblin of Goblin-town at the beginning of the Fourth Age. He came to reign as an inexperienced Uruk king over the remnants of Goblin-town after the disastrous (from an Orcish point of view) War of the Ring. His chief enemy was the seasoned and powerful Northman Grimbeorn the Old, the son of Beorn.
