Upbourn and surroundings
The Dunharrow Road south from Edoras covered over five rugged miles before coming to the hamlet of Upbourne (Éo. "Upburna").A collection of small wooden long-houses and a stone inn rest on a mountain shelf, precariously perched over the raging Snowbourne. The cobbled climb quickly snaked its way through the village and on toward Underharrow, along a narrow cliff.
