Underharrow lay in Harrowdale, five miles south of Upbourne.Both villages shared a similar size and setting, but Underharrow was slighty smaller and was nestled below a series of terraced gardens.Another gorge — the Aldor's Gate — opened onto the Harrowdale to the west, across the valley.A great waterfall tumbled out of this gape, producing a tributary stream which joined the main river beneath the hamlet.
