Uldona

Uldona River Vale

Uldona was an ancient Goddess of the Ulgath, she was considered the Goddess of Nature and waker of the Earth and sometimes seen as identical with Donu, Montia or Aldena and often identified with Yavanna. She gave her name to the Uldona River.

"Uldona" had also been the ancient shrelic name for the lands surrounding the Rhûnaer, the later gondorian province of Near-Rhûn.Though in the late Third Age most Near-Easterlings spoke or at last understood Westron and knew that "Westerners" referred to their homelands as "Rhûn", most still spoke of it as "Uldona".
