Tata was one of the first elves to awake at Cuivienen, he was the husband of Tatie and leader of the Tatyar, forefathers of the Noldor and Tatyarin Avari. Maidros and Nurwe were their children.
It is unknown what became of Tata, as he neither seems to have parttaken in the Great Journey nor to have stayed among the Avari.He may have been one of the Elves who fell prey to the Dark Hunter and his Shadow Spirits.
