Tar-Telperiën (Q. "Queen Silver-Lady") was the tenth Ruler of Númenór and the second Ruling Queen. She was the eldest child of Tar-Súrion and was born in S.A. 1320 She had a brother named Isilmo, but was still her father's heir due to the law of absolute primogeniture passed by Tar-Aldarion. In S.A. 1556 her father abdicated to her in his old age, and she became Queen of Númenor.
It was said that she had the powers of a magician or seer. She was asked to intervene in the War of the Elves and Sauron, but she did nothing, instead her nephew Minastir became involved and sent a fleet to Gil-Galad's aid in S.A. 1700.
She never wed nor had children of her own. Unlike all other rulers before her, she did not relinquish the throne in old age, and officially abdicated to her nephew Minastir just prior to the moment of her death in S.A. 1731.
