- Sounds more like a Warhammer Chaos-God to me. I don't know... If you want to introduce such a being into Middle-Earth it should have t's own distinct identity that should be different from any causal demon-god of other Fantasy universes plus that it should fit to the Middle-Earth cosmology.I don't know what concepts Tolkien had in mind for the origin of diseases and plagues... He sais that Elves were immune to human diseases, and Dwarves were almost immune too.But Diseases would affect humans, orcs (perhaps because of their part-human origin?) and halflings.I´d say diseases are a natural element of Arda... but maybe they could be warped by the Mordo-element of Melkor's power which emained within Arda.--Haerangil (talk) 21:14, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I´ve just found the Mistress on the LOTRO Wiki... she´s one of the nameless and ancient evil... might mean she's a maia of some sort or a magically warped Spirit of Arda.Not sure If I´d call her a Were-rat... there´s one were-rat in MERP the Durga, who is described as acursed Drúadan-Witch... I´d rather see the Mistress as some kind of demon... she´s the source of the Globsnaga-Fughi-Plague from which many of Moria´s goblins suffer... does that disease also affect men or just Orcs and Trolls?--Haerangil (talk) 21:21, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
