Smaug and Sauron[]

Sure. I thought it could be one of them because both of them are red Dragons (well, Ruingurth is red-brown but not far from red), both are of the Winged type and both have lairs somewhere in the Grey Mountains. But it's pretty difficult to find a mother. Most female Dragons here are of the Cold-Drakes not of the Fire-Drake subrace to which Smaug belongs.Alex of Star Wars (talk) 10:29, May 26, 2020 (UTC)
If we can't find one, then I say we make one up. A golden/yellowish dragon wouldn't be too far off either. But why do they need to be the same color? I mean Ancalagon was Black and Glaurung Golden. So I don't know if they have to be the same color. For this reason I thought Itangast would be a good pic since he is a firedrake, the greatest level of the Withered Heath, and if we paired him with a winged cold drake, that would solve the issue entirely.
