Guild of Elements[]
What do you know about this organisation? The Guild of light was an order of the far east as far as i remember... wasn't the guild of elements a cabal of southern Middle-Earth?--Haerangil (talk) 04:38, March 7, 2014 (UTC)
Yes it was, it was founded by Laurre Menelrana, Lyrin, and the Male Featur (aka Featur I), Eldarion was also a wizard who founded it, but was killed and replaced by Klaen the Bard and son of Gorthaur (Elf Gorthaur, not Sauron).
The Guild of Elements is based in the far south while the Guild of Light is based in the far east. The Guild of Elements opposed the Ardorian Council and the Guild of Light opposed--well I really don't know who they opposed, I just have tad bits of info from LOME Vol.2 which states Ringlin fighting his father alongside many Eastern lords (including Alatar).
Basically the goal of the Guild of Elements was to destroy the Ardorian council and prevent them from completing the ritual to bring Morgoth back into the world. To help accomplish this, Moran and Morelen were born and Morelen was to be used as a sacrifice. Moran came out as a twin and was thought dead, but Featur I had Yavakamba heal him and bring him to the guild. When they awaken Moran, they train him and eventually he kills his mother (or Sauron eliminates her and haults the ritual anyways).
The context about Moran's companions is elaborated on in LOME Vol. 3 where Droggo Nimblefingers is discussed about helping Moran against the Ardor council. Hope this answered all your questions.
