I have issue with Langon being the servant of Sauron. If Langon is Melkor's "Mouth" then he would have to be at least a 100th level if not more. With that said, Langon would be stronger than the Witch King and the Witch King was Sauron's greatest servant. Moran half valar (talk) 04:52, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

While this character is outside my area of expertise, I feel that some response is better than none… . I do not understand your assertion that Langon "…would have to be at least a 100th level if not more." Why so? As a Maia (like Gandalf and Saruman), he could fall within a broad range of powers, certainly less than an Istar, especially if (like Melkor and Sauron) he expended part of his innate "power" towards evil (which he almost certainly did). While the Witch-king was originally human, he could (and apparently did) rise to greater power than Langon, especially after becoming a wraith.
Just my thoughts on the matter. Cheers, -Hlingler (talk) "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." EB Hall, "Friends of Voltaire", 1906 20:53, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

I was going by Mouth of Sauron's level compared to Sauron's. Also if he was that low of a Maia, then how did he even stand the mere presence of any of the Valar? I mean it is all subjective, but for the Elder Days where Melkor and others are at their peak--I don't think Langon would be that low of a level and be Melkor's mouth. Also did someone add this? Or is this official from MERPS/ICE? Moran half valar (talk) 06:14, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

I didn't.I guess you'll have to blame someone from the fanmodules group who wrote on Fankil and u-lyshak in the bay of utum.I never make up MERP stats as i do not use the system anymore. In fact i have only played it once or twice in my younger years and almost immediately chose to abandon it for a conversion of another better gamesystem.--Haerangil (talk) 12:17, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
