this is not what happened.It also does not make any sense to 2xpel civilians from bree when it is the mist defenseable site around.
Southerners invaded Bree, no orcs. Traitors secretly opeded the town gates for them at night. Rowlie Appledore was killed, along with his fellow Bree-folk Mat Heathertoes and Tom Pickthorn; and the Hobbits Willie Banks and an Underhill of Staddle.
After the battle, the Southerners were expelled from Bree along with the traitors Bill Ferny and Harry Goatleaf who had aided them.
Only three men and two hobbits died, meaning tenderlarch survived.The underhill of staddlw could imply that also the other three villages may have been evacuat2d abd the populance took refuge within bree, which makes sense for such a defendable central settlement.--Haerangil (talk) 11:28, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
Hey Guys, yeah I created the Battle of Bree, but someone edited the Orc part. I did not put that in there, nor did I edit the mayor's death. I agree with Haerangil on this as this is what is canon. Moran half valar (talk) 18:09, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
