Tûraiska ("People-Speak") or Fureganoeb (N. "Language of northern men") was an ancient language-group in northern Rhovanion closely akin to the languages of the House of Hador and ancestor language of the later Old Rhovanian.
The Númenóreans first heard of these men from Wood-elves who lived near later Belfalas and the Ethir Anduin and translated the names the Nandor had given to them into their own Sindarin dialect as "Foradanin" and "Foredain", which were used in old scripts instead of the proper (and long forgotten) endonym.
