Tûktanin (Av. "Searching men" or Tk. "Elder Men") was a group of related tribes and languages spoken in second Age Utter South and the Southern Archipelago. Ganim, Sâre and later new-Tûktan or Hiratti were its descendants, and the region of Tûktan in eastern Mûmakan still bore its name.
Notes[]
The Tuktanin language in MERP was very loosely based on Abyssinian.
