Biography[]

Studu was the son of Théodwine and Léoffléd, making him the nephew of Thengel, and grandson of Fengel and Éolind Cyninge. When he was born in T.A. 2929, Studu never knew his parents since his mother died after giving birth to him and his father killed by Dunlendings that had been raiding Rohan. Eventually, in the year T.A. 2949, Studu was twenty years old and began to serve his grandfather as the doorguard of Edoras while his uncle had recently been away from Rohan. After his grandfather had passed away in T.A. 2953, Studu welcomed his uncle home to Edoras and continued to serve as Doorward to him. Six years later, Studu had recently traveling towards the Westfold and married a beautiful Rohirrim poet and warrior named Blanca, and the two would go on to have a number of children.

At some point during his uncle's reign, Studu was the first to welcome a mysterious Northerner from the north, calling himself Thorongil. Surprised that he was one of the Dúnedain of the North, Studu gave the man a royal welcome and introduced him to his uncle. At the king's orders, he rallied as many troops to accompany Thengel and Thorongil to ride out to war against Orcs who had been invading the eastern part of Rohan in T.A. 2980. Studu and his wife fought in the battle of Eastfold and had been defending the main entrance of Aldburg from a battalion of Orcs. While his uncle and Thorongil fought near the Everholt, Studu fought bravily against the enemy and labled a hero for his actions.
