Stiffbranch (S."Dornolf") was a tall fir-ent who guarded the dim path through southern Fangorn Forest near to the entwash bridge.He was a crotchety character who used to make nasty remarks on Treebeard whom he considered "too hasty in trusting folk".He was however friendly towards Quickbeam, though he used to make remarks on how much more pleasant it would be to talk to him weren't he so hasty.Stiffbranch was an acknowledged healer.
