The Steppe Bison (Th. "Stenwey") was an archaic type of Kine which could still be found in some remote areas of northernmost Middle-Earth.It could reach a height of over 6 ft at the wither and a weight of up to 2,000 lbs.The tips of the horns were three foot apart, the horns themselves being almost two foot long.
