Slith-Rat was a Goblin Scout who lived in the underground caverns of Moria during the Third Age. After taking over the realm from the Dwarves that colonized it, Slith-Rat was part of a battalion of goblins that were tasked to go after the Fellowship of the Ring that entered and fled from the realm during their previous encounter from the Balrog. Slith-Rat followed their trace towards the woodland realm of Lórien and made an encounter with the Galadhrim Silvan Elves that guarded the borders.
