The white paste prepared from the crushed fruit of slírd, a creeper native to tropical forests which resembled eriadoran ivy, acted in 1-2 seconds; the victim lost the feeling in 1-6 extremities (head, genitals, hands, feet) for 1-100 days.
Note:If eaten raw, slird fruit had the same effects.
