Silissë (Q. "Shining knowledge") was one of the Faithful of Númenor. She was a noblewoman who married Amadil, Lord of Andúnië, and thus served as his lady. She bore her husband a son, Elendil, who would later be his heir.
In Silissë's time, Númenor would be destroyed after Ar-Pharazôn's invasion of Valinor. Her husband had sailed to Aman to warn the Valar of the king's planned invasion, but he was never seen again. Silissë's own fate is unknown; as most of her family managed to escape the downfall of Númenor, she may have fled the island if she did outlive her husband.
