Shurûn-Dûrax was a famous "slayer" or assassin that served Sauron in the late Second Age. A killer, he was known for his handy work in the east. Unfortunately, he found himself in a battle with Nauk Zigildûn Gamil , and was eventually slain by the Dwarf warrior. Thus ended his legacy as one of Sauron's most famous assassins.
Shurûn-Dûrax was probably the descendant of Ûlthug, as he was the first of Sauron's famous slayers of the East.
