The Cult of Marec
When Sauron first seduced the Daen Coentis, he appeared before them as "Shoglic-Gobha", a servant of Gobha, the Old Man of the Mountains (Aulë).Quickly Sauron became Gobha's Prophet and eventually his alter Ego and corrupted the ancient Daen-Religion.In the End the Daen began to worship the Shoglic as Marec (Dn."the Great King") and forgot Aule in favour of Sauron.
