Sewara (T.A. 2955 - T.A. 2980) was a fast and skillful Rohir shieldmaiden. She is the fourth child of King Thengel and Queen Morwen Steelsheen, thus making her the younger sister of Meril of Cair Andros, Théoden Ednew, and Thaine of Rohan, and the older sister of Théodwyn.

• While Sæwara is an actual anglo-saxon female name, Tolkien usually modernized æ as "e" in Rohirric.
• Other (fanfic) sources give the names of Théodens three other sisters as Theodburh, Theodhild, and Theodgifu or "Sexburg", "Swanhild" and "Noniel".
