Sûlannui (S."Westwind") was a Captain of Pelargir who governed Methed Lebennin as the District Hando and Cáno of the Fanuilond Garrison. He worked with an advisory board of representatives from each town and village. Sûlannui was a most competent career officer, who was ably assisted in his military duties by his lieutenant, Faltar, a native of Fanuilond. Faltar managed the garrison on a daily basis, while Sûlannui administered the town and the surrounding district. Ever since the death of his wife and the departure of his two daughters, Sûlannui spent little time at his manor to the north of Barad Vedui. He preferred to reside in this three story townhome, which also housed his private office.
