Boromir: "Is it not a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt for so small a thing? So small a thing!"

Ringilroots

Cliffs formed from the remains of Ringil.

The Roots of Ringil (Av. "Talmâi Ringîlû") were the remains of the mountain or ice-pillar of Ringil in southern central Middle-earth. In later Ages all that were left were groups of rocks and cliffs and an archipelago of islands, the Southern Archipelago. They were found in the Bay of Ormal, which was part of the Inner Sea.
