Rogrog ( B.S. "swift demon") was a large Black Troll chieftain who about T.A. 2950 came from the Black Land of Mordor, serving directly the Nazgûl, to oversee the distribution of the newly bred Olog-hai, his kinsmen, in positions of importance and power around the Dark Lord's outposts in the Northwest, moving from fortress to fortress between Mordor and northern Rhovanion. He was named after Rogrog of Angmar and may have been his descendant, he also was an ancestor of Mollok, most likely his grandfather or father.
