The Withywindle was a small river, arising in the Tyrn Gorthad, that drained the Old Forest, and was a tributary of the Baranduin. Hobbit tales stated that the most evil and dangerous trees of the Old Forest stood along the Withywindle. It was home to the River Fay Mother Withywindle.
