
The river-valley folk (Tz. "Wedaûgwende") were the largely free or unalligned rural populance of Sîrayn, though some of their clans were tributary or dependent of the Urban Cénnacatti, Haráni and Tyári.Most of the river-valley folk were herders of Goat, sheep or cattle, many were nomads or semi-nomads, though some also were settled in the smaller riverine villages of Cénnacatt or Îsra or the few oases of Kîrm Lesra.They also included the Bausairin.
