Notes[]
Original form in MERP:Raonull = Rhiwallon
Raonull is a modern irish name derived from Ragnall, believed to be the gaelic rendering of the old norse name Reginvalr, "Wise Ruler". The proper welsh cognate of Raonull would be Rheinallt, but Rhinwall or Rhi(n)wallon could represent a more archaic form.
