Rôf of the Pakû-Clan was half-Easterling half-Éothéodan Conjurer who worked as a Spy for the Wainriders.Due to his northron blood he could pass as a rhovanian and used the alias Welric Elfwine to infiltrate the Éothéod's ranks.He lived at a place called
the Wood-cave, at the southern edge of Mirkwood, a huge, hollowed yew about a mile
from the forest's end. A cunning and cruel, but rather sentimental
man, Rôf lived with the blind Northman girl Wulfwyn and six dogs.
He loved them all dearly, although Wulfwyn was acerbic and murderous
and the hounds were stupid and unrelentingly brutal.
