The Rámanen (Q. "Wingwater") was a tributary stream of the River Lefnui in Anfalas. The derivation of the name was forgotten; but its Quenya form (an anomaly among the Sindarin stream names of the Nan Lefnui) suggested an early Númenórean origin. Unnavigable, the Rámanen could be forded within a few miles of its confluence with the Lefnui. The course of the stream led to the Cirith Iaur, which passed into Drúwaith Iaur beyond.
