Pond Bats
A small black creature, the pond bat rarely attacked Men or Elves unless panicked and confused, or trapped. It was, however, a noted carrier of fleas and other parasites, which it left in isolated dwellings and camps. Thus, they were a common cause of Cyclic Fever.
