Rist Anghiril and the Pass of Dol Hithaer
Cirith Hithaer or Pass of Dol Hithaer was the name of the northern pass into Rhudaur.It was situated at the lower end of the Pinnath Aegring and could be reached by passing the Dol Hithaer.The cleft of the pass was also known as the Rist Anghiril, connecting the Ettenmoors of Rhudaur with the Nan Angmar near Litash.
