The Other Regions (Q."Nyanyoménar") were the outer, unknown regions of Eä, outside of Arda but also outside of the timeless halls. They lay within the inner Void and the Eruhini knew little of them.Tulkas originally hailed from here and Melkor was known to have wandered and explored these enigmatic places once. The "Other Regions" presumably were home to other worlds, different from Arda, Tekel-Mirim and Ellor Eshúrizel may have been two of those and in the Third Age mannish Astronomers learned that many of the Stars truly were celestial objects outside Arda. It was unknown if the Other Regions were home to lifeforms similar to the Eruhini of Arda, though they seem to have been at last partially been inhabited by Ëalar of some sort, among them the En-Keladim and Elraukar.[citation needed]
