Old Nûzu (BS."Witty") was a lesser orc elder who lived in Mordor as a soldier. During the War of the Ring, he was mainly stationed in Cirith Ungol where he served as the cook of the tower and took part in the uprising against the Uruk-Hai. However, since they were big, Nûzu fled away in terror and ran down southwards to inform his fellow captains of what had happened.

- Nuzu was only mentioned in Tolkien's early drafts for the later Lord of the Rings, he appears in the History of the Lord of the Rings, the War of the Ring p. 212 and 218.
