Ogslap was an Orc General of Barad-Dur. Of the seed of Lokkak an Orc-Demon of Angband, Ogslap was one of Sauron's highest servants who was sent by his Master to take and secure the strategically important northern passes of the Misty Mountains. Ogslap mastered his task and built a massive subterranean fortress under the Old Pass which would eventually come to be known as Goblin-town. Ogslap died during the War of the Last Alliance but the Orcs of his progeny continued to rule the Goblins of Goblin-Gate during the Third Age. He was the first Great Goblin.
