Nuin was an Elf of the Hisildi. He wandered afar and one day found the hidden valley of Murmenalda in Hildorien where he found the first children of men. He later awakened two of the children, Ermon and Elmir and became their teacher and advisor.It was Nuin who first teached the language of the Avari to the Hildor and was thus considered the Father of Speech. Later Nuin fought in the Battle of Palisor alongside Ermon, but was eventually slain by Fankil's Goblins.
