Naurant (Sindarin for ‘red-vein’) was a large, leafy fern with bright red veins running throughout its leaves. It was used by the healers and herbalists of Gondor as a sedative.
Effect : A single dose of naurant caused drowsiness, until the user went to sleep. This effect could be resisted with food Stamina, though a user might choose to forgo resistance and accept the herb’s effects. Once asleep, the character recovered lost Weariness at double the normal rate.
