An unnamed Nature-cult prevailed among the Woodmen of Eryn Vorn. It was the last remnant of an ancient religion which had once been common among all of the Gwathuirim of Minhiriath and the coast of Enedhwaith in the Second Age. These men worshiped the trees, plants and animals of their rugged homeland and paid tribute to the wild dryads and animate trees who lived deep within the forests. Some old legends also still remembered the Ents and the long forgotten giant Grishmoigh.
