Mountain-trolls (Or. Mallog) were the most titanic members of the Troll race. Often 15 to 25 feet in height and weighing several tons, their thick, scaled hide could withstand the sun to a degree that enabled them to move at day when the heavens were heavily clouded and there was but dim light. Fortunately, they had only the intelligence of the simplest of animals, making them suitable to preform heavy labor and basic tasks, but unable to become true soldiers or even semi-disciplined fighters. In fact, when not dominated by a greater power, they lived in savage packs in the mountain-lands, existing as instinct-driven predators of the lowest kind.
