The Mirkwood-Bug was an archaic stick-bug found in some areas of Rhovanion, predominantly the Mirkwood.

Stickbugs are usually not native to temperate mixed forests such as southwestern mirkwood, though some live in southern europe and some types are able to survive in regions such as southern britain as introduced species.
