Mirit Bilnaimitîan (Fs. "Chance of the Proudfellow-kindred") was a male of the Fasattâli who lived during the Second Age.
He lived in a time when her people were very reclusive, and virtually unknown to the entire rest of the world.
History[]
Along with Hûmlis, Lîtto, Tîfis, and Pîsapim, Mirit was killed in a landslide on a rainy winter day during a migration. Their close relative Ôlorlot was thus orphaned, and mostly fell to the care of Lîrimo Brinditlin and his family.
Zâdok Sippîan read his name to the others of the community before they began another migration, in order to remember those that had come before them.

- Original Name: Chance Proudfellow = Mirit Bilnaimitîan
This character's name has been rendered in modern English, although typically Hobbit names are not translated until the later Third Age. Also the Hobbits did not start to bear family names until the 24th century of the third Age, their ancestors only had personal names; though perhaps this can be seen as a rarely-incorporated clan name of some kind.
