Menelothriand-0

When the Men of Gondor first came to the Lands east of the Rhûnaer during the days of King Turambar (TA 397) they were astonished and enthralled by the vast panorama of an ocean of colourful flowers and grasses. They called the wondrous land they had discovered Menelothriand (S."Land of thousand Flowers").The term Menelothriand usually designated the vast Steppes between the Rhûnaer and the river Talathrant (the later Tribal lands of the Kykurian Kyn, Lotan and Relmether).
