Raised on the coast of Gondor near Dol Amroth Menelcar wanted to be a man of arms since the first time he saw the Prince's knights riding past in the morning sunlight. Under the tutelage of a friendly noble, who saw something noteworthy in the determined young man, Menelcar trained for many long years, honing the skills that would one day allow him to fight on behalf of Gondor. He hoped one day to display the skill and honour necessary to become one of the knights of Dol Amroth.
