The Mountainmen of the East (Wm."Hurmkarnuli" or "Men of the Blood-mountains") were a people or a number of tribes of unknown origin. They may have been relatives of the Fale, Braric, or Woodmen of the Far East. Some Tribes of these Mountainmen of the Orocarni had close ties and friendships with the eastern Dwarves, especially the Stonefoots.
The mountaineers were not a united people but rather a collection of many linguistic and cultural groups. They may have been related to the Arhunerim and particularly the Ulbandim.
