Rumour had it that a large cornfield was spotted years ago on a plateau on the Emyn Muil. The field was in fact grown by Northmen, a family or a few clans hailing originally from the Lands near Dale. According to a local legend, the secrets of corn-farming were taught to them by enigmatic beings, maybe identical with the Entwives.
