Meiyin (Mej-Iyid)[]
Meiyin was an Easterling commander of the Balchoth who invaded Rohan in TA 2758. With quick manouvers he was able to conquer and set ablaze, large areas of the north Wold.
He set camp at Baruk-Mazush, near the old ruins of a gondorian outpost. From here he sent slave caravans back to the East. Those not cualified for the work or the long march, were executed there, and the corpses exhibited around the perimeter of the camp.
On the winter of TA 2761, while on return from a skirmish, he was ambushed by rohir rangers.Pierced by two arrows, he fought to the end, eventually being slain by Meored, leader of these troops.
His corpse was beheaded and his head brought back to Edoras, as a token to king Fréalaf Hildeson.
